Michelle has finally returned to honor her heroine Amelia.
She's been busy flying all around the country and giving flying lessons during the summer.

She ferried a plane like this one from Sacramento to Texas.

She said to say hi to her VLJ friends and she'll be back now that the weather is cooler.
Since the weather is no longer 100+F, Elizabeth and Emerald may be returning. Emerald wants to dress up in her WW2 "girlfriend waiting at home outfit".

Just coincidentally, I just saw Earhart's three-quarter length jacket and goggles on display at the Air and Space museum-- a real thrill.
