Vintage Possibly Bomber Jacket - Help!

Hello,

I am looking for some help identifying that jacket that we have come across from my grandmother in-law's estate.

We know this belonged to her late son but don't have any information about where he may have gotten it.

This is in good condition. There are a few popped stitches and one very small area of damage (about the size of a pea) on the right shoulder. The leather is a bit more stiff than I believe is ideal but not rigid. It is fairly small, perhaps a men's small or medium.

There are no identifying tags of any kind that I am able to locate. We assume this is military issue. Aiding in that assumption are the letters USN punched in a small tab that would be hidden when zipped up (see photo).

The only writing of any kind is what appears to be the stamped name "Norton Randolph" on the liner below the back neck (see photo). I have not had much luck identifying who this may have been.

The neck liner appears to be a sherpa-type fabric, but I am not an expert on fabric types enough to know if that is the correct name or not.

I can find very similar jackets online, including the USN punching, but have not been able to find an exact match.

Any help with identification or directions on where I could find more information is greatly appreciated. We are looking to sell, so valuation tips would be great as well, but not necessary.

Thanks!
