Vintage Dubow fit

Hi, I'm wondering how the JA Dubow wwii contract A2 typical fit was, loose, snug, baggy sleeves, tight sleeves, etc. Anyone have an idea? Seems to me that descriptions of all the wwii a2 contract jacket used be somewhere on this site but I guess it was taken down.

Have a look on the Goodwear site as he has a wealth of info on there, pics of various contracts etc
They are a comfy contract but without knowing your build etc there maybe better ones, assuming your thinking of a repro as originals won’t make suitable daily wearers
Hope that might help

It depends obviously on how big a jacket you get. The Dubow has square shoulders as did most WW2 A2s. The sleeve ends were usually big and the collar looked a bit small because of how it was folded. Again like most WW2 A2s the sleeves of an actual original might seem short to a contemporary person. In real life though if you buy a jacket that's from fitting it will look small, bigger will look looser (and IMO) correct.
