Fabulous grouping!
What's interesting is the Good Conduct Ribbon. LT/CAPT. King must have been a Mustang.
This is big bucks.

Hello,

That's a really great grouping.
I'm afraid it will reach high prices. It should.

someone have info on the goggles ???

They look like the Luftwaffe type 295 goggles.
It matches with the other LW memorabilia the vet has kept.

It seems that prices have dropped quite a lot recently. Last year such a collection could have sold for $2K+.

I think alot of guys weren't too sure what to think about this one. Good rock solid pieces almost always sell for good money. When something doesn't, there's usually a reason.

There were some questions. Was it reissued? The painting on back was really nice but rather generic and named the group rather than a Sqdn or plane. All easily explainable but not at all explained.

Another observation for all of us: What do you all thing the clear coating is on and around all the painted surfaces? Looks almost like the border of a decal though obviously not. Could this be maybe an acrylic floor wax or something that would help the colors pop out?
