Very nice condition Aero

It's an original Aero from their last contract for A2s, the large 42-18775-P contract issued in late May 1942. This Aero contract was an interesting one in that you see a great variety of different batches of hh used. Some were seal and many more were russet finished. Some still had berry knits whilst most had mid brown knits like this one. The bottom of the pockets varied from square to curved like the Ebay one. It should sell for at least double the starting price.

I'm a bit surprised it was won for the price of a good repro. Really outstanding condition.

The lack of a label tends to reduce the value of a jacket by around 30% and being a smaller size as well did not help it. It went for a fair price IMO. Many plain original A2s sell for around the same price as a high end repro these days.
