Very Large Irvin

I have just picked this up, needs a lot of work, Main Zip, about half of the sleeve panels etc... etc..
but I have never seen an Irvin this big!! Armpit to Armpit 26 1/2", I can't find reference to anything this big on the forum... Any one else seen one larger? Generally a size 7/8 seems to measure 24" armpit to armpit...
Also thoughts on the manufacturer?

I have seen similar sized Irvins Rick. This one is definitely a size 8. The breast measurement of a size 8 Irvin was 53" according to the 1940 and 1941 AM specifications. Good luck with the restoration work. I am not at all sure who made this one as there were quite a few sub-contractors around, in addition to the five documented makers.
