I like the dark shell and the contrasting russet seam tapes.

Hmm...not so keen on the marked contrast personally, although how much is due to the camera is difficult to tell.

Nicer than their later ones with the dodgy sleeve shapes, but your news that they are revamping the design bodes well, Ken knows his Irvins that's for sure. There were good Irvin repros around several decades back (Aero, early Eastman ones, the ones from Speedman Leathers in Old Kent Rd and even the very early AL), now it seems there are good choices again
