It's been what, 20 years since my first visit to NYC, which was also my first visit to the States. What immediately pops into my mind from that trip? Ray's pizza, Snapple (which wasn't available in the UK at the time), TERMINATOR 2, Sam Fuller retrospective at Film Forum, Shea Stadium and...the Intrepid. Thanks for the reminder.

Great pics. We visit Intrepid most every time we go to NYC to show the kids "grandpa's ship." (my father in law was surgeon on her in the 60s)

Visited the Intrepid on my one and only visit to NYC in December 2000, the day we went it was gale force winds and we were advised not to stand on deck for long! A great museum and looks like more aircraft have been added since my visit.

Great shots. I've never been .

My uncle served on the Intrepid during WWII as a mechanic. We talked of going to see it but he died of lung CA before we could.

Thanks a lot!
