My M1903A4 rifle has one munted scope base screw. Just identified an as new replacement on eBay. Pair of screws is $5.95 plus shipping.
Three pair available. If someone could secure TWO(2) pairs from the seller and A) perform Jedi magic on the seller and persuade him to deal direct with a Paypal verified eBayer with 1332 feedbacksor or, B) take shipment and post on at my expense. ALL EXPENSES COVERED AND OVERAGE PAID!!! These screws are paramount in restoring my prize possession to the way it left the factory. Have a ripper of a target from my .308 handload development, science yet to be applied to the .30-0. New RP Brass and Hornady A-Max projectiles sitting on the bench ready for tomorrow. Thanks gents!! Looks like a philister head screw. These aren't specifically for a 1903. I'm surprised an equivalent can't be found locally.

Unit weapons tech can't help? RAEME machine one?

It is a pretty standard Leupold/Redfield screw. I had two matted silver ones, but in a reorg they were stashed away somewhere.
I have another M1903 Leupold base with the screws, but I would prefer to keep it all together in the pack. Might be worth more
intact down the line..

Our armourers are too busy trying to keep Dillon Aero in business, changing barrels all the time. Our FN Mag-58s (M-240s) are used and abused
but you just crank up the gas...and they keep on keeping on!
