Thrift Store Jacket

Cool Brill Bros G1 I saw in a thrift store this weekend. Priced as 225 USD if anyone wants me to go pick it up. Looking at the patches and reading the squadron history VR-21 was established in 1957 and VR-30 was decommissioned in 1978 so I would guess this was from a time period around 1960 in between the squadrons number change over. There were also several CWU's but nothing that stood out.

Your Brill Brothers G-1 was made sometime after 1968 when they had their first contract. They had 7 contracts from 1968 to 1977 and I suspect this is 1970s example, but would need the contract number to be sure.

Had one of these G1 ,they are stamped to look like goat ,actually thick cowhide like a motorcycle jacket . Horrible jacket to wear ,the only good thing is the silky poly lining , slides on easy . The reason I did not like it the leather is so thick it never molds to your body nor will it ever ,sort of sits on you hard to explain .

Pretty sure I have one just like it from the late 70's, very thick and creaky.
