Gents...
Sold my ELC Hartmann 44 in early 2009. Replaced it with a 42 a couple of years ago which I sold a few months back. Found this one yesterday and started bidding in earnest. Listed my N-1 to make some quick dollars and it sold overnight. Then my L-2 sold today. Was keen to get my 'bid' on. Then the seller pulls it with live bids? Nothing peeves me more. I loathe the type of individual who, through fear of having to actually bid and win, undermines the process. Almost as much as the seller who finalises the dodgy deal. I have no hassles whatsoever with anyone pulling something without a bid or a pending offer to save on the eBay/Paypal extortion.

Just shot the seller this:
"Hi,
I was the under bidder on the Eastman Hartmann jacket you just pulled. I had listed an additional jacket after placing my initial bids on your items. I priced the items to sell and one sold immediately and another sold today after I dropped the price again. I now have two jackets I sold cheaply to fund bids on your item. I only recently sold my 42 that had become a bit too snug in the shoulders. I am not too keen to proceed with my sales now. I was wondering if you could contact my high bidders and explain that since you pulled the listing I will not be proceeding with my sales? I can furnish the user IDs and the relevant item numbers. It is VERY frustrating when sellers sell offline when there are active bids. My son was ill today and if not for that I would have put on additional bids tonight. I would have thought the tempo of the auction would have tempted you to keep the auction online. I can assure you that those who make an offer are only attempting to do YOU out of money."
Karma baby. Thinking of doing up a mock ad with a 44 with a $1.00 start bid to rattle with the mindset of the dirty lowballer....
