Will any one ever ride it or will be a wrapped in cotton wool for posterity ?
Are the tyres in keeping with the look or are they a modern type fitted because of improved performance ?

Love those old bikes, especially when someone else has gone to the trouble of making it "new" again; I used to love tinkering with those machines, but with two kids I don't have time for it anymore - if I'm going to ride, I need to be pretty sure I'm going to make it home that day.

While the old Nortons, Triumphs, and BSAs are stunning, hre's my preferance:

That's one of Kenny Dreer's rebuilds, not a lot of Norton left in it, and the price is through the roof. I prefer to keep with the originals. Current list is 2 Commando's, 1 Atlas, 2 P11's (1 complete, 1 basket case), and about enough parts to build a 3rd Commando. Kenny went on to buy the rights to the Norton name and attempted to produce newly designed "Norton's", and like everybody else who's tried to resurrect Norton, it fell through too.

Oh shit I want this bike. Harley actually experimented in WW2 with a V twin drive shaft which was like the BMW drive train and the Motto Guzzi heads. Made more sense to me to have drive shaft, no chain to break.

Stunning. Are you browsing for one, Mark.
Maybe later, I've had a few vintage bikes, would love to get back on.
