I bought this DD Poughkeepsie Size 46 from Pilot a couple of years ago. I wasn't too much impressed by the jacket and initially gave it to my dad as a present. Since the jacket is too heavy for his 86-years old frame, I'm using it pretty much as a daily wearer the last couple of months and I'm not very carefull with it. Must say that the jacket develops fine and it's getting better and better.

GW Acme / Aero l bought from John CBI some years ago. John will be able to tell you more but I remember he said he wore it hard and I've been continuing that trend. After recuffing I've worn it as a work jacket in all weathers fixing stuff about the place, repairing tractors, oil changes, painting, digging, fencing, driving, working with the horses, dogs etc, down the pub ...you name it. Its had some fairly unpleasant spillages over it but clean it off, air it out and it's sorted. Not a jacket I would wear going out to dinner but worn for what it was bought for it just feels so right...

This is a USWings Indy of distressed cow. I have owned it 13 years and it was used before that. The hand is a little heavy but incredibly soft - not in a fragile lambskin way, but ruggedly so.

This is one where I am seriously considering having some "room" added in.

[pix to follow shortly]

Here's my DD aero 21996, daily wearer while here exploring NZ, worn on hikes, carrying back packs, driving, fixing the van. I'm not a fan of the red knits on aero's but the price was too good to pass it up as I love the grain and the collar. Steerhide, chrome tanned, semi analine finish with additional pigments used to create the aero colour.

My Eastman A1 nicely worn in by the original owner. It was made by Eastman for YMC and was listed on eBay as a YMC jacket - hence a bargain buy. Thanks to @John Lever for mentioning YMC A1’s by Eastman which enabled successful hunting.

Gentlemen, I'm curious, what is the difference between an ELC decal, and a NOS orginal decal and the best repro decal, which for some reason I have lodged in my brain is the MASH decal? Sorry for the off topic question, but I'm interested

As long as you put it where it should be you'll be fine.

My latest buy - an Aero Leather Thunderbay Café Racer. It came with worn cuffs and shredded lining in the cuffs and next to the handwarmer pockets. I’ve patched the lining and (inexpertly) turned the cuffs which fortunately were long enough. It’s a beater so I can live with the imperfections.

By far my most beat-up jacket, my old (probably) 70’s Lee Stormrider. My daughter covets it but it’s too big for her.

Next my old Avirex A-2. Doesn’t get worn much but the leather-almost certainly horse) is so fantastic that I am reluctant to part with it.

Finally my ‘Phantom’ G-1. Label illegible so age indeterminate, cowhide but it’s aged beautifully. Never let anyone tell you late model G-1’s aren’t worth bothering with.

Hey P-47, when I first glanced at the wide shot before reading the text, I thought you were posting an original Aero. DD did a brilliant job making and it and you wearing the hell out of it. Here's hoping DD starts making jackets like these again.
