Here is a pair of sheepskin trousers by Irvin Air Chute in a larger size (size 6, waist 36-38", inside leg 33.5").
The label is present and reveals the trousers to be from 1941 and size 6.
The hide needs a feed as it's a little dry from storage, but otherwise it's in very supple condition.
The fleece is incredibly dense and colourful (bronze/honey interior) with minimal loss throughout (aside from on the ankles).
The suspenders/braces are not present, but the leg and hip pockets/snaps are working well.
The zips are period Dot with bucket ends and work very smoothly (there is some loss of thread to one of the leather tapes), but otherwise is good condition.
Thanks to John Lever for taking the photos, which show the colour very well.
