They're seen on numerous US-issued jackets produced under mid-'70s contracts for sure, and possibly later but I'd have to check my stock.

We have a private purchase flight jacket at our museum and the zipper is a SERVAL i was believing it has been changed post war and it was a french brand.
nice to know more about this brand

Peter, I just did a quick sweep of Google and you're correct. However, I'm not sure if Serval zips showed up again until the '70s. Strange . . .
