Schott 674 jacket advice needed?

Hi, I've been searching for an 1980's Schott 674 jacket with the Schott /YKK zipper instead of the earlier Talon zippered jackets and finally found one in great condition externally but unfortunately the shearling lining is very dirty and I'd really appreciate any advice from anyone who've successfully managed to clean the lining and bring it back to a less dirty shade of white/cream.

Also the cuffs and waistband are very faded and I wanted to know which dye/products would be best to make them dark brown again please?

Cheers

They make shearling shampoo and conditioner. You can find it on Amazon. Find the gentle stuff and give it a light shampoo once or twice over and then let it dry naturally no heat. Get the stuff that has conditioner in it .

You can Google “Shearling Shampoo “ for more options of products .
Thank you.
Any ideas for dyeing the cuffs and waistband?

Sounds crazy, but I would throw it in the washing machine. No more than mildly warm water with a little bit of Woolite. When it is done, stuff the arms with towels, lay a towel in the body, gently press out what you can of the water and either wear while it is drying, or hang dry with a large diameter hanger.

It is chrome tanned, drum dyed leather with a pigment finish. It can handle it.

Yes put it in the washing machine or if you don’t want to do that in a bath with Woolite and warm - not hot water. You will be amazed how dirty the water gets and how much crap a jacket can absorb over a couple of decades. Then condition it when dry. Don’t force the drying, just leave it in a warm room well away from radiators.
