...hasn't found the "Made in Pakistan" label yet.
Haven't heard of that brand. Anyone know anything about it? I found one older ebay auction for a similar jacket and it said "Made in USA".

My first A-2 back in 1990 or something, my girlfriend bought it for me some time after my Dad and I went to an air show in Manchester, NH. Lots of WW2 aircraft and a tent selling this brand of A-2, Dad bought one. The owner of the company was a P-47 pilot during the war, Goodman? He swore that this jacket was "exactly" like the one he was issued in WW2 when I was on the phone ordering it. Plymouth is just a 30 minute drive from where I grew up so I got it quickly. Shortly after buying it, his company went out of business. You can find a little info about him in Hell Bent for Leather.

The jacket had a rayon, nylon or something liner and was not very accurate at all. Now remember, this guy was a fighter ace claiming it was exact, I remember talking with him vividly. So we can't really poke much fun at the people picking them up these days and claiming them WW2 vintage, especially with the info on the labels they are most likely using to research a jacket history.

Back when these jackets were being sold, Eastman and Real Mcoys were the only others as far as I knew. Wasn't much online, in books, or anywhere concerning WW2 Flight Jackets back in the 80's and 90's when my interest started. These days, anyone with a genuine interest has it pretty easy with all the info available. Someone just selling a jacket they found does a quick search and it's listed as a WW2 jacket.

Sent the seller a note about the jacket.
Received a nice reply from the seller noting she got the jacket from an estate auction, was under the impression it was "real".
Was going to add comments to the auction noting she has received emails questioning the jacket, and a caveat that she can not guarantee it is real.

Guess at this point she should actually state that it is not a period jacket, but the fact that it won't sell at 199- will speak for itself. Back in the day, I got mine for 225- at a discount.
