No offense to whomever this belongs but the leather looks strange to me - not only the "wear" but even more the lack of flexibility. I thought RM had a good rep. What am I missing? Teach me about RMs

Listing states "Damage Processing Type" so I guess it's pre-distressed, which as we all know often looks "fake".

I don't know about that jacket on Ebay. Sure looks alot like aniline dyed jacket of a senior member here used to own ( sorry- forgot his name )

But here's my opinion on Real McCoy New Zealand :

Patricia ( Paddy) Curall of RMNZ is the best sales person i've ever communicate with...very helpful and patience, the jacket on the other hand ....looks shiny from the box and will stay shiny after acetone treatment, thick and warm horsehide, extra length of sleeve when brand new ( 27.5 inch ), thick wool knits , and original hardware.

Hope that helps Dave.

I've never seen an A-2 like this from RMNZ, all the older house labelled examples that I've found in New Zealand, have been labelled McCoy Sortswear, Isola NY.

There's another example of this Stinson Beach McCoy on Yahoo Japan, obviously quite old, and with seriously flaking lacquer ...

... and a Japanese forum tells us that the Stinson Beach label was 1995, lacquer seal.
