Probably most of you guys know this already, so this is for those that don't. When I bought that vintage Civie jacket in Seattle I posted a pic of in an earlier thread, I mentioned that the label was totally unreadable. I got an idea to shine a black light on it to see if it would show anything. I had a buddy that had one and I took it over to his place yesterday. Sure enough, it worked great, I could now read it clearly. It said Hercules, genuine horsehide, Sears and Roebuck Clothing Co. I just thought I'd pass that info on to anyone who hadn't thought of it.
