Rare jacket?

Seen this on another Spanish vintage site, Bengreenholtz and co, windward is it a rare one?

Looks like someone decided to re-line their Windward (very common brand from Montgomery Ward back in the day) with some old military kit.
I've heard of Montgomery Ward, I saw this jacket has knits inside the cuffs also, definitely a strange one for me, looks like a hunting coat or motorcycle, am I correct?

Ok translated it now, wonder if this alteration was done period? I know what they say, don't buy the story, buy the item,
Superb WINDWARD jacket in horse leather (Horsehide) from the 1940s.

It was initially lined in sheepskin as its label indicates but at one time, its owner replaced the sheepskin with the Alpaca lining of (his?) Air Force (USAF) type A- pants. WWII 10 (the bottom of the pilot outfit that went with the B-10 jacket) It is therefore as warm as the original but lighter
