RARE EASTMAM JACKET 44!!

It's been treated with Packards too.

There seems to be an automotive theme to ebay items today: there is a 'Goodyear' A-2 for sale, as mentioned in another post here. Perhaps we'll see a jacket listed as "Olds" instead of 'Vintage', or a jacket with 'Mopar' instead of 'Conmar' zippers?

this is old topic...
it's not the first one Eastman vs Eastmam...
the old forum has this thread ...

I think one time Easman had "bad" label done and they used it!
the N looks like M!
Yes I'll go along with that ,definatly looks like an M as opposed to worn. :|

If this is so why did ELC sell the jacket with an inaccurate label? Surely someone must have noticed before it left the factory?

it's not an 'M', that letter is not even as wide as an 'M'. it's the same width as the 'N' in the word 'CLOTHING'
i did ask Gary once and he thought it could have been a glitch in the making of the label, it has a missing one little 'Pick' at the bottom that would turn it into an 'N'.
i didn't ask him why they still went ahead and used it!
