Terrific snap of a SE5a pilot demonstrating how to change the 97 round drum magazine on a Lewis gun on the Foster mount. The Lewis was a remarkably reliable machinegun, jamming far less frequently than the Vickers (which the SE carried above the engine in the upper left cowling).
