Visited the museum at RAF Cosford on my way to Wales. Great free-to-enter musem (you pay to park only).
Excellent aircraft displays including a large hangar for Cold War displays.
The lighting and aspects weren’t great for photographs but here’s a few.
I recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for sharing the pictures. When I visited the museum at RAF Cosford, it was like a pilgrimage. Many of the iconic WWII aircraft that I grew looking at pictures of and reading about were there, and then some. Where can one see, up close, British BoB veteran aircraft together with some of the axis aircraft they fought such as a Ju-87 (one of only two suriving Stukas), a Ju-88, an Me-262, a Me-163, a wonderfully-preserved Me-109G and an Me-410? I spent a whole day there and only got to see about half of the exhibits! And it's free admittance, to boot. A gem of a museum. I have got to go there again and check out the other half!

Great photos thanks for posting.
I know I’ll probably never have the opportunity to visit this museum, and by posting them you’ve given me a chance to see some of the things there I could never have seen otherwise .
Cheers

Or if you ever do make it over here Burt ....See it as more incentive. A week here would give you time to see RAF Museum at Hendon, Cosford, Duxford, several control tower museums and if timed right, an air show or two. Myself and i’m sure a few others would be your guides

No Grant. Some were flown in back in the day. I think the runway is now civil private light airframes only.
Another great museum that has air shows is the Shuttleworth Collection
