I saw this jacket being offered on eBay:
WW 2 Leather bomber jacket 9th Airforce, , A-2 Jacket
The jacket isn't a an A-2, nor even a WW2 jacket and the tag clearly dates it as 1958, so I thought it might have been a post war civilian purchase by the vet to replace his WW2 issued jacket. I googled the name, S.J.Dickerson, Lt. Col S. Dickerson, then WW2 USA Fighter Aces (the kill marks on the jacket indicated 12 German kills). No USA ace named Dickerson with the 355th Fighter Squadron was found in any of my searches.
We've had many discussions in regards to sewing rank and kill marks on repro jackets, so my guess is that, S.J. Dickerson, was a hobbiest or re-enactor and made up this jacket for himself and it's now being sold as a WW2 jacket, although any collector would know, isn't from WW2.

This is a A-2 jacket flyers jacket for the US ARMY AIR Force., size large, belonged to SJ Dickerson who was in the 9th airfroce, during WW2, fighting in Europe.
