Question about B-15B vs C/D warmth

Is there much of a difference between having an alpaca/wool inner lining seen on certain versions of the B-15B (as well as B-15 and B-15A but those are cloth jackets) and having an alpaca/wool fiber filler in the B-15C and D?

Potentially looking to replace my BR B-10 as it's slightly too small for me (and I've never been a fan of vertical pockets on jackets lol) and I was wondering if I'd be sacrificing warmth with the inter-liner vs inner-liner.

They’re not as cozy, but I actually think from an insulation standpoint the inter-liner is a little better than the pile lining.
As long as the warmth is about the same or betterr, I'll live lol. Thanks for answering. Do you happen to know if all the contractors used wool filler or did some use polyester?
