It's a bit like the old Morcambe and Wise sketch ("I'm playing all the right notes. Just not necessarily in the right order!"). The jacket has all the right bits (Just not necessarily in the right order!).

If you look closely at the photos you can see the stitching where the trouser pockets were once sewn. The collar back does not appear to be made from cowhide, but sheepskin. I wonder when the jacket was assembled? Late War by ground or post War?
