simply google my dear.
for this one, i start on a photo i discover for sale on ebay.
the guy in front of his Spitfire had an unknow patch (for me).
i send a mail to Johnny; when i receive his answer, than i start a little search on this unit.
aso aso aso.... from a link to another, i copy photos for my file and choose the best one to place here; so simple.....
it just need a little time.

The photo of 8ball's crew in front of their plane: the fellow on the end of the row looks an awful lot like Clark Gable. Yes? No? Anyone know for sure. He was in Europe, I think.

That's Gable. He was a captain with a film unit, but he had trained as a gunner, and flew several missions as such with the 303rd BG.
