Thanks for those wonderful photos Marcel, I really like the second photo, looking at the makeup of the crew there and wondering what lives they left back home.

Interesting that the chap in the back row from the 91st has both group and squadron patches, but he has the group on the left and squadron on the right. It was my understanding that it was supposed to be the other way round-mind you, it was Eastman's catalogue that I got that from. Perhaps in the real World they weren't that fussy. Unusual to see both on a jacket. The captain in the front row's patch doesn't look like any of the 91st's squadron patches from what I can make out-perhaps he'd recently transferred in.

The Captian in the front row is wearing the patch of what "appears" to be the 152nd Observation Squadron , so I would veture is is a transfer . And I do believe you're correct as to the placing of the Sqd/grp patches on the other man's A-2 , yes they did tend to reverse them at times, the "rules" weren't always "strictly" enforced in this area .

Hey Marcel for a good image of the 152nd Obs.Sqd , type in Ranger95 in your search box, click and click on title it will go to main page then click "Air Force" box, scroll down and you'll see "Observation squadrons on lower right side of titles click that one and then click 152ndOBS Sqd , there ya go !
