i sold the perry to maurizio [seller] a coupla years ago, and i can say that it is even nicer in the flesh, so to speak. frankly, i think hes nutz to sell it. but, then again, if he gets his price or close to it, he will have done aok.

This Perry is a size 40 with a repro label, whilst the Dubow is all complete in a size 44, so although the Dubow sold for more than some expected you can see why.

by and large, on the open market, ya get what ya pay for. more new collectors are realizing that the upgrade a-2s will cost them. needless to say, experienced collectors have known this for years and buy accordingly. bottom line? if ya want the top tier, sometimes ya gotta pay top tier, as there are only so many top tier a-2s being brought to market.
