so heres the deal: the latest scam arrives in your email inbox. it looks like an official paypal notice. the notice reads: we are alerted to unusual activity in your paypal account. you now have limited access to your account, and will be further limited to your account if you do not respond. DO NOT RESPOND!!!, DO NOT OPEN THE EMAIL. forward any "paypal" suspicious email to: spoof@paypal then put the sender on your spam list. if you are ever unsure about the origins of a email from ebay, or paypal, go to your respective accounts and verifiy. never, ever reply to these spoof emails. every time ebay, or paypal gets wise to these f**kers, they go on to a new and improved scam. yes, there are folks that get taken to the cleaners by these f**kers. dont let it be you, or your friends. best regards to all. v

This is very common. Just like your bank, CC, or any other secure online site, don't enter the site unless you initiated it with a search - email links especially. Others prompting you to open it is often a scam that will open up a clone page to get your personal info. If anything is that important, it will also be on your PP, CC, or bank page once you log in directly.

I had one several months ago.I didnt think anything was wrong until I saw they were asking for the PIN number to the ATM machine.I contacted Paypal and forwarded the email.About two weeks ago,another one showed up.But I did get an email from Africa with pictures of a beautiful young woman who wanted to send millions to my account and then she would come later and we would live happily ever after. That one I know is true !!!!!

Yeah, I get them from time to time. I know one website where a guy was just feeding a line to the Nigerians that wanted money. It was a pretty funny exchange going on.
