Patch IDs?

I'll resist the temptation to bombard the board with the 50 or so unidentified patches that I would like to get IDs on but I have two that I would really like to solve.

The first appears to be a CBI unit and features what looks like a Native American squaw on a broom.

The second is a clearly from the MTO as the tail marking are those of the 484th BG a 15th AAF B-24 unit. But I don't recognise the patch as any of the usual 484th group or squadron designs.

The "Bee" looking patch could possibly be a "B' Flight of one of the Squadrons, or "nose art" form one of them , or a "personal" type patch ...... contact a online site page of the group, also several online facebook pages of the B-24 Liberator you may want to post the image on and a few "Nose art" pages as well on FB ........ I've seen the other two some years ago but still no ID on them ......

Thanks for the reply - I'll keep on looking.

It’s always frustrating to have a patch sitting in the unidentified pile for a time. However, it makes it more satisfying if you ever manage to track down an ID.

Yes, I am always searching online, books, etc for ID's , I have an image file of close to several hundred "Unknowns" and I've been slowly knocking off a few now & again, but many to go still, but it's always cool when you do find one or more, I'll keep yours' in mind if I ever find it .....

The tail markings on the bee are the 484th's so most likely this is either a "crew patch"/nose art" type , you probably will need to look into actual aircraft
images from the 484th and nose art to find this one ....
