really nice, USAAF exhibition under Eifel Tower, what a dream to see such an event today.

Great bunch of shots and what a neat idea to pull off at that time, and how cool it would have been for the locals to finally get a closeup view of the machines that helped save them. Looks like they selected a couple of planes with the best artwork and the bombers look very war weary.

Isn't it amazing, I wonder how many people who have ever stood in that place since would know that this ever happened. I certainly didn't.

Very nice photos indeed Marcel. And what a great idea at the time to do this, under the Eiffeltower in the heart of Paris no less!

the 4 first came from a blog and the others came from an album on flickr.com
but there were no other one, i copy all the photos present on each sites.

I wonder if this is the same exhibition that Donald Malarkey was sent to act as a consultant on after the end of the war? (As seen in Band of Brothers)
