Got this made by US Authentic, it's authentic in the sense that it's a leather version of the embroidered patch we're wearing. Turned out pretty well I think.

Here is a set I recently made with a similar style for a navy squadron. The Tipsy Gypsy also makes a lot of embossed/debossed patches.

I'm in an Army Medevac company. On our A2CU's (Army Aircrew Combat Uniforms) we wear an embroidered "flight" patch that is unique to our company. I'm looking at getting an A2 to commemorate my deployment to Iraq and this patch is our flight patch done in leather.
