Original roughouts?

They are original USMC or USN boots and should fetch a tidy sum. probably unwearable as the suede has a tendency to tear easily. No repro maker currently has the means to produce the corded sole.

I worked as an extra on the WWII movie Windtalkers as a USMC soldier. There were over 200 of us and we all had original uniforms (some pretty dirty) and those exact boots, same soles. Wardrobe seem to have their trucks overstuffed with WWII gear! I heard a rumor that it was some of the same gear used in Saving Private Ryan. I got to carry an M-1 Carbine, it was made of rubber though.

Those look pretty solid. They will fetch a fortune as 9.5 is probably one of the most common sizes here in the US.
