Original M-422 Monarch MFG. Company

Hi all,

Considering selling this absolute stunner and super rare jacket... the mighty M-422.

Cuffs/waistband and liner lovingly replaced, everything else totally original. Original label still intact and (just about!) readable. A nice fitting 40- 42 (exact measurements on request).
Gorgeous large mutton fur collar, original brass Talon zipper, scalloped pockets, slightly longer than later models body, inside map pocket, and frankly ridiculous condition vegetable tanned goat skin for its near on 80 years of life! You can still see the stitching outline for the squadron patch on the front right chest.

*zipper is slightly coming away at the top, but would be a very easy stitch repair*

Hey! Ha, you probably are right . I’m very lucky to also have a Beautful M-422a, which I wear a lot. So I’m happy to see this one go to a new loving home. It’ll also be funding a new jacket, as always.
