Thanks for the pics of a lovely Dubow! Most that survive from this contract are smaller sizes. What size would you guess one is?

It does have a white label inside right packet. It is size 36.

It appears to have two different colour thread being used.

interesting to me is that the hides on this one look very much like the hides used on city "sport" and mc jackets into the late 40s-early 50s, both in color and texture. the largest one ive ever seen was a size 40 in this contract. very odd, that.

According to Aota and Gary's book, this contract came in sizes from 36 - 40. Also, it's made from cowhide, not horse.
