He did indeed revise the listing after I emailed him, saying it was his father's jacket and he knew nothing about wartime jackets. So I guess it was just a genuine mistake to think it was an original.

The seller revised the listing before you first saw it. He changed the:-

Title, Description and Category.

His father had a WASP patch on his jacket.....maybe he meant his mother's jacket
