There used to be an electronics dealer in nyc that went by the name of “ crazy eddy” he had radio and tv ads where he would yell (ver bug eyed.) “ our prices are insane”. Well, they were if he had the item in stock, hahahaha. Crazy Eddie did time for tax evasion, shitty biz practices, and god knows what the hell else……….insane is not a very good way to start anything off, imho

Eddie Antar eventually pleaded guilty to federal fraud charges in May 1996. In February 1997, he was sentenced to eight years in prison. He was also ordered to pay more than $150 million in fines, in addition to the more than $1 billion in judgments against him resulting from various civil suits.
