The Levis museum used to pay big money for missing items in their collection. I sold them a jacket for $8000 some 12 years ago. Aero in Scotland got more for one I believe.
They have paid more than that for rare jeans.
I am nearby, I would like to go see also. I have never seen a jacket so rare, it may be my last chance to see one. I hope the admission price isn't over $100. It must have been worn once by Mona Lisa, to be so valuable. I wonder if he has Mona Lisa's Levis 501s she wore to go with it.
Surely a jacket of this calibre, if it is so rare, would not be for sale on ebay. There has to be a collectors network out there as there is for rare A-2's, or so I'm told.
