Only one new box for me today..

Had a .44-40 Carbine years ago....this one will use the 700 .44 Spl cases I have.. :D

But heavy shealing would have been cool too..

Wow, those pants are loud ! Hey Couchy, are you going to wear leather chaps with that rig ? :D

Peter,

If my Dad could still get hide it could have been the case. That was the last of good thick hide he managed to get. $180 of leather then the hours cutting, stamping, drilling, stitching & dyeing. Have a matching hand sewn bandoleer as well. From the old Western Action days just shy of 20 years ago that rig made its name. Was a dab hand if do say so myself. But a pistol calibre rifle let me down beyond 100 yards.. ;)

And I rarely spell shearling as shealing anymore.. :)

Nice leather work and the wood is beautiful. I thought that Australian gun laws prohibited the use of firearms?

What with the fellow wearing the lei on the right side of the photo, this appears to have been taken in Hawaii.
I can see why the fellow wearing the heavy coat has that "WTF are they thinking?" look on his face.
