Very nice painting! The artwork for this bomb group was almost all done in the same manner. There are a few examples of similar artwork from this group in various flight jacket books. I know there are a couple in Maguires books.

Sold for over 5,000 I think this answers the question as to investment value of vintage A-2 jackets.

Some high prices paid these days for jackets - especially with art. I have been toying with maybe selling my original Aero with art on it as it might fetch a nice price BUT am holding back as I know once it sells, I won't be able to afford an original A-2 with art again.


Oh, just occurred to me - please don't email asking me for pics and how much I want to sell it for and somehow considering a PM like that as some sort of first dibs if I ever do decide to sell.

I am not probing, just mentioning my reactions to recent sale prices in re my collection.
