Nice original B-10 size 40 with insignia

pit-to-pit 18 inch doesn't sound right to me, the rest of its measurements seems ok, almost like an actual 42.

The condition is an issue with the damage to the front near the zip, non-matching replaced wristlets and traces of paint. Apart from these defects it's a nice B-15. ;)

Fitzwell B-15?
Doesn't Steve H have one of these with a blonde collar?
Was it decided whether it was mil spec or civy?

Fitzwell Sportwear had just one contract for B-10 jackets 44-10479. The auction jacket is from this contract.

Isnt that one of those post war copies ??? have seen them before , in the label it says " original army type" bit of a give away ??

Correct. It is not Fitzwell Sportswear's one issued contract for B-15 jackets.

Yes Full Gear is the bible for fight jackets. It is written in Japanese with English captions. It is very well researched and listed all known contracts from the late 1920s to the 1970s of USAAC/USAAF/USAF/USN jackets. It expensive, but worth every penny IMO.
