Nice old ELC RAF Irvin

Found this and bought it from an older man who looked like Tom Bombadil, working in Dickensian dental lab in West Sussex. Same chap who had the RAF hat.
Size 46 regular, old and musty but not tatty, very rare chestnut tanned version with contrasting thread. Natural time worn finish.
Some light fading and cuff wear on one side , missing zip fob and no neck strap. Very very soft and light.

That’s the finish that I find most appealing, not the high gloss crackle finish that ELC is using today. I wish they would go back to that . Nice find John .

Looks like the surface is tanned rather than painted with acrylic. I had a size 44 years ago but someone had shortened the arms and ruined it.
