I ran across a completed listing (http://cgi.ebay.com/Vtg-FOSTER-SON-Top-Gear-LEATHER-Motorcycle-JACKET-S-/130561635814) with the same jacket but a different zipper which says

REVISION 08/14/11: We were contacted recently by Mr Foster to let us know that he actually produced this jacket in the early 1970's for the Triumph Motorcycle Company.
