WW II Horsehide A2 Flight Jacket. Issued to George A Zientowski. Small section of sleeve seam unsewn as shown. Lining has been replaced and has one small rip as shown. Cuffs were replaced. Small cut through leather on back as shown.
Whoever replaced the lining did a crap job by the looks if it and ruined it by using collar studs through the top of the collar - that can’t really have been an error back in the day surely, albeit it looks like it could?
Leather is in excellent shape with very little wear. Supple with no rot or holes. Lining is also in excellent shape with no holes, which is quite a rarity! Inspector’s stamp near collar as shown. Original knits have a few holes as shown.
