As I always say, nothing beats an original!

This is a NOS example still in its box from the last version of the L-2B that was produced in the 70's until their successor; the CWU-36/P was finally issued.

This specific example was made by the prominent Alpha Industries Inc. under contract DLA100-78-C-0719 in fiscal year, 1978.

This last model (MIL-J-7448J) features a MA-1 style that excludes epaulettes or storm flaps, and added flaps to the pockets.

The condition of this example is immaculate and impossible to upgrade. Needless to say that finding it in size X-Large is something rare. The box is just a bonus that makes it unique.

The epaulets seem to be missing in this photo (if its an L-2B)

Nothing is missing. As it is stated in the main post, this last version excludes epaulettes.
