Probably one of the holy grails for a collector is finding examples in its original condition. But finding them in box definitely adds the touch of uniqueness to the piece.
This is another NOS example from the last version of the L-2B that was produced in the 70's until their successor; the CWU-36/P was finally issued.
This specific example was made by the prolific Alpha Industries Inc. under contract DLA100-75-C-0432 in fiscal year, 1975.
This last model (MIL-J-7448J) excludes epaulettes or storm flaps, and added flaps to the pockets.
The condition of this example is immaculate and impossible to upgrade.
Needless to say, finding jackets in this condition never gets old.
Enjoy it.
Regards,
Jorge
