New Good Wear Werber 1402 and Dubow 20960 photos!

Over the past week I had the good fortune to acquire this incredible Good Wear Werber 1402 from JC's sale page. It's in a russet cowhide of substantial weight but with a relatively soft hand and amazing drape, which affords the most comfortable fit I've encountered in an A-2 thus far. The grain is ridiculous! Here are a few quick photos of the jacket with original WW2 khakis and A-3 mechanic's cap. Service shoes are reproduction ATF Type IIs:

While were at it at I had Laura snap off a few of the Dubow 20960 JC made me a few months back:

As you can imagine, I'm really pleased with the new Werber. I welcome any comments.

Great jacket and great Contract. I now prefer cowhide and goat jackets over horsehide.

Thanks, Vince! JC has been doing some great work with cowhide lately and I've become a big fan.

All looks great with the bamboo in the background, like a period photo in China.

Thanks, Sean! That's the look I was going for. I caught a little flak for the A-3 cap as opposed to a crusher or overseas type, but I thought it went well with the khakis for a CBI-influenced impression.

They look great! I never took much notice of the Werber pattern, but once I tried one I have to admit it's a fantastic jacket.

Very nice, colour on both is fantastic, not to mention the fit, both fit perfectly.

The Dubow 20960 is a lovely patter, with some really nice details. And the Werber is always a nice easy patter to wear.

Hope you're happy with them both. They look superb

The photo work is excellent too! How did you "age" this photograph? Is there a filter in Photoshop I don't know about, and need to get?

Glad you like the photos as the ones I take usually fall well short of the mark! My girlfriend did these with an iPhone/iPad combination. I believe she transferred the pics from the phone to the tablet and retouched them.
