He liked to keep busy! I noticed the harnesses for the parachutes are clip-on chest type - imagine fumbling around trying to get that done in an emergency..........

Thanks for sharing these Bevan. The Irvin appears to be the Coastal Command varient with the yellow hood which is folded up in the second photo. I particularly like the personalisation on the c.1940 Links Irvin, Andrew.
