Need help in identifying this vintage steer hide jacket

I just received this vintage steer hide jacket from a friend. Unfortunately it did not have a label other than the “genuine a steerhide” tag. The main zip is TALON and the snaps are RAU Providence Rhode Island Fastener Company. There is also a tag in the left hand-warmer pocket with the number 511 and the size 42. The liner is quilted and is an iridescent green red. The cuffs and waist are ribbed wool.

Any help in identifying the make and model and age of the jacket will be greatly appreciated.

Other than it looks to be a vintage commercially made leather jacket...... no.
Let me suggest that you photograph the zipper pulled and check the interior lining and sleeves and pockets for any additional labels or marks that might help identify the jacket.

Thanks for the suggestions... I did include a pic of the main zipper pull (TALON) and I only found the two tags on the jacket - one on the liner and one in the pocket ... both pics are attached too
